Dr. S. P. Singh, recipient of the Commonwealth Medical Scholarship and WHO Fellowship, is a distinguished biochemist who has served as Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry at various government medical colleges in India, including Gorakhpur, Agra, Jhansi, and Azamgarh. He has over 46 years of teaching experience, 36 of which were as Head of the Department.
Dr. Singh has authored 34 books, all single-handedly except one, including a biochemistry book in Hindi commissioned by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. His Manual of Practical Biochemistry has been translated into Persian. Having served as an examiner for numerous medical and allied courses across almost every state in India, he has gained extensive experience in medical education and training.
