OP Murty
Dr. OP Murty, MBBS, MD, is Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at AIIMS, New Delhi. He has over 30 years of teaching and clinical experience, including positions as Professor of Forensic Pathology at UiTM, Malaysia, and King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, and as Associate Professor and Head of Forensic Pathology at University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
Dr. Murty has published over 150 scientific papers and authored several books and manuals, including a UNICEF manual on trafficking and sexual exploitation, Operational Guidelines for Postmortem Examination and Auditing, and Operational Guidelines in Medical Toxicology. He is a co-author of the popular textbook Forensic Medicine with Prof. KSN Reddy (32nd–34th editions). He has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and the International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Legal Medicine, and is on the editorial boards of numerous national and international journals.
