Sudha Vidyasagar
Sudha Vidyasagar MD is currently Head, Department of Medicine, Voluntary Health Services Hospital, Chennai, and former Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. She has been associated with the Manipal Medical Manual since its inception. The book began as a compilation of chapters she authored while conducting bedside teaching for postgraduate students at KMC, Manipal. This initial collection on emergency management gradually evolved into a concise volume that gained wide popularity as a practical manual. Her dedication to teaching has continued throughout her career, as reflected by the many students across the world who have benefited from her guidance. She continues to offer free online classes for students.
