Sadhana Joshi Mendhurwar
Sadhana Joshi Mendhurwar, MD is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology at Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She completed her MD in Physiology from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and is a certified diabetologist and an international sleep specialist from the World Sleep Society. She also serves as India’s Ambassador to the European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO).
With over 25 years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, she serves as an examiner across universities and has managed key academic, research, and administrative responsibilities. Combining academics with clinical practice, Prof. Mendhurwar has authored multiple books, published papers in several indexed journals, and is a renowned speaker at international forums.
She is a recipient of the prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sadbhavana Award for her outstanding achievements and contributions to physiology and related medical sciences.
