Komal N. Chavan, MD, DNB, MNAMS, FCPS, DGO, FICOG, with advanced training in reproductive medicine (UK–Germany), is Medical Director and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Chavan Maternity and Nursing Home, Mumbai. She is an Honorary Assistant Professor at HBT Medical College and Dr R. N. Cooper Hospital. She has over 15 publications, has contributed to textbooks and magazines, and is actively involved in academics.
