Avani Oke
Avani Oke is the Principal of K. J. Somaiya School and College of Nursing, Sion, Mumbai, a position she has held since 2014. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and around 10 years of clinical experience. She joined the Somaiya Group in 2012 as Vice Principal and was promoted to Principal in 2014.
She began her career as a Staff Nurse at LTMG Hospital and College of Nursing, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, and later worked at Breach Candy Hospital and Hinduja Hospital. She has served in academic roles including Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, and Associate Professor. She has also worked as Clinical Care Coordinator at Lilavati Hospital and Education Coordinator at Kindred Hospital, New Jersey, USA.
