Arya Lakshmi Marisetti
Arya Lakshmi Marisetti PhD is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy and
Phytochemistry, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi. She completed
her academics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. She has over 14 years of experience in teaching. She has
supervised 49 BPharm, 24 MPharm, 4 MD (ayurveda), and 3 PhD students, and written 13 book chapters and 2
books, published more than 40 research and review papers, and holds 11 Indian patents. Dr Marisetti has received
numerous accolades, including several best poster awards, the state first rank in AURCET-2017, the Best Outgoing Student
Award (2005–2009), and other academic honours. She is the principal investigator of three externally sponsored research
projects funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine
