Varinder Kaur PhD (Nursing), MSc (CHN), MA (Pub. Ad.) is presently working as Principal in HIMCAPES` College of Nursing, Badhera, Una, Himachal Pradesh. She holds a doctorate degree in nursing and her specialization is Community Health Nursing from National Institute of Nursing Education (PGIMER) Chandigarh and an additional degree of Masters in Public Administration and Diploma in Palliative Care. The author has 16 years of teaching experience in the field of nursing. She is an active member of many professional organizations. She has also authored a couple of books, viz. Textbook of Nutrition for GNM Students and Textbook of Applied Sociology for BSc Nursing Students. Apart from this, she has reviewed many books of nursing for graduate and postgraduate students. Besides, she serves as an external examiner as well as guide at various universities.
