Prior to that, he was Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun. He has to his credit 13 research papers published in Indian and 5 in international journals. He has also published a handbook of multiple choice questions in pathology for medical students. He is an active participant in various national and international conferences cum CME programmes.He is life member of Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM) and Indian Association of Cytologists (IAC).
