Harish Rajak MPharm, PhD is Assistant Professor, Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (a Central University), Bilaspur. He has more than 15 years of experience in research and academics. He is involved in teaching medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis to students of BPharm, MPharm and Pre-PhD courses. His research interest includes synthesis and biological evaluation of small heterocyclic molecules. He has written four books Antimicrobial Activity of 1,3,4-Oxadiazole Analogues, Four Binding Site Hypothesis for Anticonvulsant Activity, Antimicrobial Evaluation of Some Novel 1,3, 4-Oxadiazoles, Histone Deacetylase Inhibitors: In Treatment of Leukemia and more than 105 peer-reviewed research/review articles in national and international scientific journals. He is a member of editorial board and reviewers` panel of several reputed journals of pharmacy and medicinal chemistry. He is a life member of various professional bodies, including APTI, ISCA, ISTE, IPGA, SPER, SBC and ACT. He has presented his research work at international level including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Germany and the Netherlands. Dr Rajak has completed/dealing with several research projects funded by Government of India (UGC, DST and AICTE).
