The first edition of Pharmaceutics-I Practical Manual was warmly accepted by the teachers and students of Pharmacy as it made their work quite easy and they could devote -much of their time actually to the practical work. With the introduction of Education Regulation 1991 of Pharmacy Council of India it was necessitated to revise and bring this practical manual up to the expectations of teachers and students of Pharmacy second year. As per syllabus. 100 prescriptions covering various topics like powders capsulet mixtures emulsions ointments E.N.T. preparations. Liniments lotions incompatibilities and suppositories are covered. This practical manual will prove useful to the teachers students and working pharmacists. It will be helpful to the students as after finishing their practical work they will directly write the calculations method of preparation in their own language and also make a beautiful label on the blank left hand side page of this manual instead of writing it in a- separate note book thus saving their valuable time.
