Sandeep Kaur MSc, PhD (N), (Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing) is currently working as Associate Professor in Khalsa College of Nursing, Amritsar, Punjab. She has the experience of more than a decade in teaching obstetrics and gynecological nursing to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Besides, she has also published nearly 20 research papers and review articles relating to different topics of obstetrics and gynecology in several national and international journals of repute. The author has participated and presented several research papers in various national and international workshops and conferences. She received best paper presentation award in 2014. Apart from this, she has supervised many BSc (N) and MSc (N) students. She is an active life member of various professional associations. She takes it as a matter of pride to shoulder any responsibility in the interest of nursing profession. As an academician, she has vast practical knowledge and she is well aware of the requirement of nursing students. Dr Sunita Lawrence MSc, PhD (N), (Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing) is currently working as Principal cum Professor in Pragyan College of Nursing, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has more than 40 years of exclusive experience in teaching and administration in the area of nursing research. She has been the author of nursing textbooks and publisher of two index nursing journals since 2005. She has also published 25 research, scientific and health-related articles besides working as the resource person and presenter in many national and international conferences including Commonwealth Nurses & Midwives Federation, London 2016. She has credit of organizing many local state, national, international conferences and workshops. She is a recipient of various prestigious awards: National Florence Nightingale Award (2019), Women Empowerment Award (2018), Fr. Moore Memorial Education Award, Best Principal Award (2011), Research Fellowship Award (2010), Bhaskar Women of the Year (2009) and Bharatiya Shiksha Ratna (2007).
