His passion for teaching takes him across India to numerous teaching programs. He has been honored with Excellence in teaching and Distinguished alumnus awards by KMC, Manipal. He conducts basic and advanced teaching courses in his specialty of hand surgery all over India and has guided many dissertations, PhD theses and research scholars, and is presently the editor of Karnataka Orthopaedic Journal.
