Salient Feature of this Logbook: This logbook contains all the activities carried out by learner in the department of General Medicine across all the phases of MBBS. It provides a single and complete record of competencies achieved by the learner. Certifiable competencies and `show how` (SH) level competencies taken from undergraduate curriculum vol.2 document of CBME. Suggested competencies are pre-written in the Logbook. AETCOM module, Pandemic module, skill training and reflective writing pages are included. For each competency, ample space is given to record various activities done by the learner throughout MBBS. Neeraj Mahajan MD (Physiology), DNB Is Co-Convenor, NMC Nodal Center for Faculty Development, and currently Associate Professor, Department of Physiology, NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He completed Fellowship in Medical Education (FIME) from CMC, Ludhiana. He has been awarded by former President of India Late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam Sir for obtaining highest grades in DNB exam. He is also felicitated as Best Medical Teacher award by Gujarat University in 2015. He is author of various books in Physiology like History and Evolution in Physiology and Physiology for Physiotherapy. He has youTube channel named `Physiology in 2 minutes` and also mobile physiology app named `Physiology Solutions`. He has published 20 research papers in various indexed national and international journals. Paras Parekh MD (Physiology) Is MEU Coordinator for Faculty Development, and currently Associate Professor, Department of Physiology, Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Rajasthan. He is a Gold Medalist in his postgraduation at BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad. He is pursuing Advance Course in Medical Education (ACME) from Nodal Center, Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. He has undergraduate teaching experience of 10 years. He has keen interest in medical education and actively involved in the implementation of new CBME curriculum for the Indian Medical Graduate. Chanchal Shrivastav PhD (Physiology) Is MEU Co-Coordinator for Faculty Development, and currently Professor, Department of Physiology, Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Rajasthan. She is a member of Curriculum Committee of the institute. She is pursuing Advance Course in Medical Education (ACME) from Nodal Center, Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. She has 11 years of undergraduate teaching experience. She is actively involved in the implementation of new CBME curriculum for the Indian Medical Graduate. She has published 14 research papers in various indexed national and international journals.
