Vipul Ambade MBBS, MD, LLB is currently Vice-Dean and Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Medicine, Government Medical College, Gondia, Maharashtra. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur, in 1993 and MD in Forensic Medicine from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur, in 1997. He joined as Lecturer, Department of Forensic Medicine, Government Medical College, Nagpur, and has also worked at Government Medical College, Yeotmal, and Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur. He is member of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine and Indian Medical Association. He has to his credit more than 75 scientific articles (original research and case reports) published in leading international and national journals, mostly appeared in Pub Med. He has more than 1000 citations on Google Scholar with h-index of 30. He is the reviewer of national and international qurnals. He has been a member of institutional ethics committee and staff research society. He has received Top Cited Award` by Elsevier for his article in an international journal. He has also served as associate editor of Journal of Forensic Medicine Science and Law.
