Gaurav Dubey PhD is currently a faculty member in the Department of Optometry, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah, UP. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of optometry. He has presented papers at 40 national conferences; been given 9 awards by different authorities; and participated in 89 online researchoriented programs. He has organised 12 national optometry conferences and chaired 13 scientific sessions in various national optometry conferences. He is editor of a book entitled Futuristic Trends in Artificial Intelligence and associate editor of Multidisciplinary Research Trends: Volume 4, and has to his credit more than 67 research papers published in various national and international journals. He has written six books: Textbook of Clinical Optometry, Handbook of Ocular Terminology, Professional Ethics, Fiber Optics and Lasers in Medicine, Medical Optics, and Teaching and Learning Methodology, and contributed chapters in six books. His two other books entitled “MCQs for Optometry” and “Optometry Atlas and Basic Optometry” are currently in press. He has been granted four design patents, one utility patent and one copyright, and earned MOH Oman Optometry License and seven national academic awards. The Optometry Council of India and Indian Optometry Federation have felicitated him for creating awareness in optometry. He is a review board member of 15 national and international journals and an external examiner of many universities/institutions.
