He received his MSc in biophysics from Centre of Advanced Study in Crystallography and Biophysics, University of Madras, Chennai,and PhD in medical physics from the MAHER University,Chennai.He has taught at Meenakshi Medical College, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. He has worked in the field of radiation physics, radiation stress, ECG studies, small molecule structure determination and docking studies and haematological experiments in physiology. He has 15 years of teaching experience in teaching radiation physics and instrumentation and medical physiology to medical,dental,nursing and allied health science students.He has numerous research publications and serves as an examiner for undergraduate students from Dr MGR Medical University. S Qairunnisa MSc, PhD is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology, Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC), Tirupati. She received her MSc in medical physiology from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, and PhD in medical physiology from the MAHER University, Chennai. She has a vast experience of teaching physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical, dental and nursing students. She has research experience in the areas of stress, especially restrain, heat and cold stress, nerve conduction studies, ECG studies and cardiovascular response to yoga training. She has to her credit many research papers published in indexed journals, and serves as an examiner for undergraduate students in many Indian universities.
