Janakarajan Ramkumar PhD is Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Design, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is an INAE fellow. His areas of interest are micro- and nano-manufacturing, sustainable and cheap products, and process development. Prof Ramkumar reviews more than 20 journals, has over 80 patents, and more than 250 publications to his credit. He has been a consultant for several projects under DRDO,DST,BIRAC,HAL, and others. He has used over `25 crores to create technologies at IIT, Kanpur, and done over 150 seminars on NPTEL, MOOCs, and FDPs to inspire Indian students to pursue research. Vyom Sharma PhD is Project Engineer, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Design, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He received his MTech–PhD joint degree in 2021, from IIT, Kanpur. His research interests include development of hybrid machining processes, electrochemical dissolution-based micromachining systems, surface texturing techniques, and unconventional methods for the fabrication of acoustic metamaterials. He has published 12 research and review articles in international peer-reviewed journals, and five book chapters. He has also presented his research at 11 international conferences and has one Indian patent to his credit. He is also a reviewer of eight international peer-reviewed journals. Mahavir Singh PhD is Senior Project Engineer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT, Kanpur. He received MTech–PhD joint degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 2021. His research interests include advanced micromachining processes, electrical discharge micromachining, wire electrical discharge micromachining, hybrid manufacturing, micro texturing, and tribology. He has nine publications in international journals, one patent filed, and eight chapters in edited books to his credit. He received the Best Paper award at AIMTDR and COPEN conferences. He is a reviewer of three international journals from Taylor & Francis and SAGE publications. Amandeep Singh PhD is Research Establishment Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Design, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He manages imagineering laboratory, which focuses on novel product creation and services. He completed his doctorate in 2017 from IIT, Kanpur, and has over 20 years of industrial and academic experience. He has multiple patents and published works in international journals; and also mentored various start-ups. He has created 10 MOOCs on NPTEL, and agMOOC.
