The main objective of this book is to introduce otorhinolaryngology (ENT) to the students in a simplified manner. The new CBME curriculum brings a more structured way of learning.
Students also need to gear up for NExT. Keeping these two aspects in mind, the questions are framed using Bloom`s taxonomy verbs and the answers are written in a structured format using bullet points making it easy to learn and replicate.

Thripthi Rai MS is currently Associate Professor, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka. She completed her MBBS from KVGMCH and MS in otorhinolaryngology from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, Mysore. She is actively involved in academic activities and has numerous national and international publications to her credit. She has also authored a chapter in the recently released Textbook of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery: A Competency-Based Approach for Undergraduates.
