Subsequent chapters deal with the design principles and procedures for beams compression members and slabs. Chapters on the design of continuous beams and framed structures staircases and flat slabs follow. In the latter chapters analysis and design of beams curved in plan design of footings and design of retaining walls are presented. A large number of examples have been included to illustrate the analytical principles and the design procedures. This book is a product of long experience of university teaching in the subject of Reinforced Concrete Design gained by the author.
