The body of technical information relating to the pulp and paper industry continues to expand at a phenomenal rate. This imposes a difficult problem of selection since the amount of material that can be included in a single volume is obviously limited. Careful thought has been given to this selection with the purpose of presenting that material which will be of the greatest interest to the greatest number.
