The number of MCQs (one-mark and two-marks linked common data questions) has been greatly increased which is a unique feature of this edition.
In view of the fact that previous GATE examination papers had objective type questions only answer sheets for all objective type questions have also been included in the interest of students. Keeping in view the material available in the market we have extensively added the new pattern of questions for the students. We hope this effort will help in instilling confidence among the students. The question paper of GATE with detailed solution is also included which will be of great help to the students in understanding the level of examination. As the pattern of the paper has been changed according to the guidelines given by IIT the paper will consist of 65 questions. Extensive efforts have been made in revising the content according to the latest syllabus incorporating all the topics and implementing various suggestions given by experts from different colleges/universities and students so that book is comprehensive elegant authoritative and error free.
