This book is the second of a two-volume set written to meet the requirements of degree students of engineering, technology, applied sciences and equivalent professional examinations of various universities and engineering colleges of India and abroad. The text of this volume has been divided into seven chapters. The text presented deals with advanced topics in engineering mathematics usually included in the syllabi of degree courses of engineering, technology, applied sciences and equivalent professional examinations of most of the universities. This comprehensive book contains theory and large number of typical solved problems along with illustrations. It also contains number of supplementary problems with answers (hints have been provided wherever necessary). Further, solved and unsolved problems collected from the past years examination papers of various universities and engineering colleges have also been incorporated in order to familiarize the students with the types of problems asked in these examinations. Vital hints, wherever necessary, have been provided for unsolved problems so as to enable the students to arrive at correct answer without any difficulty.
