Balan K PhD is currently Vice Principal, Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is the recipient of awards like Prof VKM John National Award, ISTE for the Best Engineering College Teacher of Kerala (2012), and Lifetime Achievement Award for the contributions made in R&D of geosynthetics in India by CBIP, New Delhi, and International Geosynthetics Society. Joy Varghese VM PhD is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering Trivandrum, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. He has experience of over 10 years as a faculty in mechanical engineering in various institutions of Kerala.
