This book is intended for medical students and for beginners in pediatrics. This book is aimed at teaching how to elicit history and physical findings. This book is an attempt at looking at normal and abnormal findings. Unless the student understands normality and develops an ability for "pattern recognition" of normal features, one cannot recognize abnormality. This book is an attempt at teaching a logical approach in describing physical findings. Our old-time clinicians have been emphasizing a logical approach for many years. But it is hardly practiced.
