Major objective of this text is to provide a thorough background in those analytical principles that are particularly important in pharmaceutical analysis. The book aims to teach those laboratory skills that will give students confidence in their ability to obtain experimental data. The subject matter is discussed in 8 chapters covering mainly titrimetry and gravimetry besides general introduction to pharmaceutical analysis. The material in this text covers both fundamental and practical aspects of Pharmaceutical Analysis. An Appendix containing the equivalent weights of some commonly used compounds, indicators, primary and secondary standards have also been included. Glossary of some important definitions at the end of the book will serve the purpose of quick memory and references. The book fulfils basic needs in understanding the concepts of pharmaceutical analysis.
