About the Author
Arushi, from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, has been a dedicated
student of anatomy with a great fascination for human development. Her comprehensive
notes on the topic of human embryology provided nidus for this project. She is a born
artist. Her pencil sketches on different aspects of human embryology have been
converted into beautiful coloured diagrams by an experienced computer artist. She
already has two books to her credit, namely Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology for
Nurses and Allied Health Sciences and Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology for Health
Professionals.
Indu Khurana, Professor at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science (PGIMS),
Rohtak, is an experienced teacher and author. She has authored Textbook of Anatomy
